Ripple is a university student project developed for prototype testing and educational purposes. This privacy policy explains how information may be collected, used, and handled when using the app.

Ripple may collect information required to provide and test the app, including:

• account or login information, if users sign in or create an account;
• basic app usage information for testing and improvement;
• content submitted by users inside the app;
• camera access, if users choose to use a feature that requires taking or uploading images.

Camera Permission

Ripple requests camera access only for app features that require taking or uploading images. The app does not access the camera in the background.

How We Use Information

Information may be used to:

• provide app functionality;
• test and improve the prototype;
• identify and fix technical issues;
• support project-related evaluation and development.

Data Sharing

We do not sell user data. Information may be accessed by authorised project team members, university staff, or project supervisors where required for testing, support, evaluation, or project supervision.

We take reasonable steps to protect collected information, including limiting access to authorised people. However, as this is a prototype project, users should avoid submitting unnecessary sensitive information.

Data Retention and Deletion

Information is retained only for as long as reasonably required for the project, testing, or evaluation. Users may request deletion of their information by contacting the project team.
